“Dance is the hidden language of the soul.” - Marta Graham
Lucia Valero Arribas, a Spanish dancer, began her journey in dance at her mother’s school in Barcelona. At the age of 15, she continued her training at the Conservatorio Profesional de Danza Mariemma in Madrid, where she completed her Classical Dance studies. Later, she transitioned into Contemporary Dance, earning a Bachelor’s degree from ZHdK Zurich and completing an internship with the Dutch company De Stilte.
For Lucia, dance is a form of freedom, a way to express what words cannot, to transform her emotions, and to share joy and authenticity with others.
She joined EDGE inspired by its versatility and creative approach, seeing in the company the perfect opportunity to explore artistic freedom, embrace new challenges, and engage in collaborative creation after years of structured training.
Curious and open-minded by nature, she loves exploring new activities and experiences with people, preferring to stay in a constant state of discovery rather than focusing on a single hobby.
