“Dance is a language beyond words”

Lucie Marcellin, a French dancer, began dancing at the age of four and went on to train at the Conservatory of Rouen, later continuing her studies at the Conservatory of Avignon. She then joined Area Jeune Ballet in Geneva, where she graduated in July 2024. Since then, she has been working as a freelance dancer across Europe.

For Lucie, dance is what sets her soul alight, a language beyond words where everything becomes raw, honest, and profoundly human. Through movement, she expresses what cannot be said, finding in dance not only an art form but a necessity: a quiet fire that keeps her grounded and alive.

Lucie decided to join EDGE to broaden her horizons and step beyond her comfort zone, embracing new challenges and shared artistic experiences. She is particularly excited to explore the choreographic side of dance — an aspect she has always felt drawn to — and sees EDGE as the perfect space to experiment, learn, and grow both as a dancer and as an artist.

Beyond dance, she enjoys hiking, photography, and singing, activities that allow her to stay connected to nature and creativity.
